This combination of tours AH10 and AH11 is for those that don’t have too much time but still want to make the most of it. We visit the Presidential Residence at Bessastaðir, and Hafnarfjörður the town were humans and ´hidden people` live together in harmony. In Reykjavík we stop at restaurant Perlan, where you have an incredible view over Reykjavík and surroundings. We visit Hallgrímskirkja Church, Höfði House were the summit meeting between Reagan and Gorbachev was held in 1986, then we continue to the Old Town Centre, the harbour and much more. The tour takes a break in the city centre where the passengers will be dropped off to take a stroll or have lunch (Not included in the price). After the break we head for the countryside to the National Park at Þingvellir, which in August 2004 was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. We continue our journey to the geothermal area Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Next we make a short photo stop at Kerið which is an immensely powerful old explosion crater. The trip then proceeds to Hveragerði town which is in a horticultural area where geothermal energy has been harnessed to create unique greenhouse cultivation. Although this tour is an “express” tour, you will be visiting some of the very best known historical sites and natural phenomena in the country.
