AH31 The Viking Horse Riding tour & The Blue Lagoon

This combination of tours is for those that don’t have too much time but still want to make the most of it. Make your dream come true and get acquainted with the Icelandic horse. It is a breed that has remained virtually unchanged since the Vikings brought it to Iceland in the 8th century. The Icelandic horse is small but sure-footed, docile, enduring and extremely strong. Due to its qualities and size, it is ideal for beginners, as well as for the more experienced. Enjoy a 1 to 2 hours riding tour on the outskirts of the capital and get to know the horse that has managed to serve the natives for centuries in the harsh landscape of Iceland. After the healthy exercise, take a relaxing bath in the Blue Lagoon, which has become well-known worldwide for its healing properties and relaxation qualities. The Blue Lagoon was created by accident when condensed steam from the power station was released into the lava field to sink. Instead the unique mineral solution made the lava watertight and created the lagoon, with its white silica mud that gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin.

Bathing there is one of the highlights of your visit to Iceland. Don’t miss it!
