The Danish country cottage holiday is a way of life redolent of less frenetic times. There is perhaps no better way to spend a summer’s week or two just swimming; bicycling; sailing; fishing; golfing or whatever takes your fancy.

Your summer home can be by the beach or a lake; fjord or farm and anything from a simple wooden cottage to luxury house with its own swimming pool.

All cottages are equipped to a high standard, generally with an open plan lounge; fully equipped kitchen; two or more separate bedrooms; shower and WC. Most also have colour TV; garden furniture; barbecue and other facilities. Travel to Denmark is with DFDS whose “Dana Sirena” cruise holiday liner has a 5 star rating awarded by the AA. Facilities on board include a choice of restaurants, shopping, children’s play area and live entertainment.

Since nowhere in Denmark is very far from anywhere, all its attractions are within easy reach from wherever you choose to stay: those famed long, white sandy beaches; Odense; Arhus; Copenhagen; Castles and Summerland parks. And of course, Legoland. And to ensure you have a trouble free holiday, a linked network of Service Centres throughout the country provides baby-sitting; linen hire; bicycles to rent, etc, as well as general advice and information.

We offer a choice of cottages, all privately owned, so to get things started, please contact us to discuss your requirement. We can advise on local driving times, excursion possibilities and check availability for you but please note that we must hold your completed booking form and deposit payment before we can confirm a booking for any particular property. Cottage bookings are only available as part of an inclusive tour.
