DAY 1 UK – HELSINKI Scheduled Finnair flight to Helsinki. Self transfer to Hotel Radisson SAS Plaza for overnight.
DAY 2 HELSINKI – PUUMALA Collect hire car and drive east to Puumala in the heart of Finnish Lakeland. Highlights: Porvoo, Lappeenranta and Imatra. Overnight at Hotel Sahanlahti.
DAY 3 PUUMALA – SAVONLINNA Leisurely short drive to Ovanlinna Castle (including guided tour). Highlights: Olavinlinna Castle, Cruising on Lake Saimaa. Overnight at Lomamokkila.
DAY 4 SAVONLINNA – RANTASALMI Short drive through quintessentially Lakeland countryside. Highlights: Linnansaari National Park. Overnight Hotel Ruusuhovi.
DAY 5 RANTASALMI – ANTTOLA A day with the Finns. Highlights: Rapio Mill, ‘Butiken pa Landet’ shop, Handicraft Exhibition at Kenkavero Old Vicarage, Lunch at Tertti Manor. Visit to Ollinmaki Wine Farm. Overnight Anttolan Hovi Manor Hotel.
DAY 6 ANTTOLA – HELSINKI Highlights: Mikkeli market square, lake cruise. Overnight Hotel Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel.
DAY 7 HELSINKI – UK Morning at leisure. Scheduled Finnair flight to the UK.
