Roam the southeast shoreline with its bundle of aquatic spectaculars; gaze through the doorway of Hell; stand gob smacked at the rainbow framed Golden Falls and visit Pingvellir where the Vikings started debating rather than axing each other. Round off your tour with a couple of days in Reykjavik and optional trip choices as far afield as Lake Myvatn and Vestmannaeyjar or simply soak up the atmosphere of the world's most northerly capital. Spring and autumn departures with small groups of likeminded people.

DAY 1 UK – REYKJAVÍK Scheduled Icelandair flight to Reykjavík. Transfer to and overnight at Borgartún Guesthouse.
DAY 2 PINGVELLIR – GULLFOSS – GEYSIRMeet your guide and travel out to ingvellir National Park for a day amongst its geological marvels and then down to Hella. Highlights: Gullfoss: Geysir: Pingvellir National Park: Viking Parliament. Overnight at Hótel Mosfell for three nights.
DAY 3 SOUTH SHORE EXCURSION Highlights: Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss: Skógar Folk Museum: Vík: Sólheimajökull Glacier.
DAY 4 JÓRSÁRDALUR EXCURSION Highlights: Hekla: Gjáin: Hjálparfoss.
DAY 5 REYKJAVÍK Return to the city for a sightseeing excursion and afternoon at leisure. City sightseeing. Overnight at Borgartún Guesthouse for three nights.
DAY 6 & 7 REYKJAVÍK Optional Excursions: Westman Islands: Akureyri: Lake Myvatn: West Coast Tour.
DAY 8 REYKJAVÍK – UK Transfer to airport. Scheduled Icelandair flight to UK.
