Discover the exhilaration of a snow and ice triathlon: safaris by snowmobile, husky and reindeer across the landscapes of southern Inari, one of Lapland’s most majestically serene settings. Rest up by night in a traditional dead pine log cabin set at the foot of the Kiilopaa and Ahopaa; enjoy the hearty local food and re-connect with your soul.

FELL CENTRE KIILOPAA

At the intersection of a 190 km network of hiking and cross country ski trails, Kiilopaa has 18 newly built log cabins set around the main Fell centre building with its reception centre, equipment hire facility, café and restaurant. Nearby Kuurakaltio has both electric and logwood saunas – the latter with its soft aromatic heat being a world away from its hotel cousin. There are marked trails for cross country skiing (of which some 35 kms are illuminated) and a 6 km snowshoe trekking trail.

CABINS

Cabins are made from silver pine and sleep up to 4 all having a separate bedroom, open plan kitchen/sitting room with a sofa bed, open fireplace, sauna, shower and WC. Kitchen appliances include conventional & microwave ovens; fridge and coffee machine.
