DAY 1 UK – IVALO Scheduled Finnair flight(s) to Ivalo via Helsinki. Private transfer by car to fell centre Kiilopaa. Overnight for 4 nights in log cabin. Dinner in the Kiilopaasali dining room.
DAY 2 REINDEER SAFARI After breakfast it is time to sit back and enjoy the beauty of Lapland in a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. This gentle introduction to Lapland lasts two hours and leaves the rest of the day free to be enjoyed at Kiilopaa by perhaps trying some cross country skiing or snow shoeing. Dinner in the Kiilopaasali dining room.
DAY 3 SNOWMOBILE SAFARI Breakfast and off into the wilderness by snowmobile driving around 50/60 kms through forests and across lakes and culminating at a reindeer farm. Lunch is served in a reindeer hurder’s hut. Overall duration around four hours. Dinner in the Kiilopaasali dining room.
DAY 4 HUSKY SAFARI After breakfast you will be taken to meet the huskies and after a lesson in ‘mushing’ you will set off on an exciting tour through the snow clad forest enjoying lunch en route in the wilderness. The overall duration will be four to five hours. Dinner in the Kiilopaasali dining room.
DAY 5 IVALO – UK Breakfast and private car transfer to Ivalo airport for scheduled Finnair flight(s) via Helsinki to Heathrow.
