WEDDINGS AT THE ALTA IGLOO HOTEL

The Alta Igloo Ice Chapel with its exquisitely decorated ice sculptures and altar, is consecrated each January by the Bishop of Nord-Hålogand and weddings conducted by the local priest. Beautiful and intimate, a wedding here is about as romantic as it gets. The adjacent Laksestua restaurant is perfect for your wedding dinner and your honeymoon night is spent in the hotel’s very special bridal suite.


DAY 1 Scheduled SAS flight(s) from Heathrow to Alta in Northern Norway via Oslo. Private transfer to Hotel Vica for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 Breakfast and day at leisure before afternoon transfer to Alta Igloo Hotel. Late afternoon wedding in the Ice Chapel.Time for photographs followed by an aperitif in the Ice Bar. Wedding dinner in the adjoining Laksestua restaurant before retiring to the Igloo Hotel’s very special Honeymoon Suite.

DAY 3 Morning sauna and breakfast. Snowmobile safari on the Finnmark Plateau. Transfer to Alta and the Vica Hotel for a romantic dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 Breakfast. Transfer to the Husky Farm for a dog sled trip through the forests and along the banks of the Altaelva River. Final dinner and overnight at the Vica Hotel.

DAY 5 Breakfast and private transfer to Alta airport for your return flight(s) to Heathrow via Oslo.
